Background of the Organization
The journey of Association for Development in Social Welfare[ADSW] commenced in the year 1999 in the form of a local club in a small village of the then Medinipur district of West Bengal and initial days involved in promotion of Rural Library
Strength & Infrastructure
Land
Organization have own land
Training space & Building
Organization have own concrete building [Approx 1000 sq fit space in each floor] with separate toilets, water supply, kitchen, furniture & Electricity. Close to 60 numbers of trainees can do accommodate at a time.
Library
One library with more than 10K books in Bengali, English and Hindi languages. At present total readers are: 327
Staff strength
Total paid staff is 23, along with 25 volunteers. Organization has a number of total 76 structure SHGs with 760 active women force.
